Could You Make a Record Today?

July 16, 2009

That’s a question I need to start asking myself. Can I make a record today? It’s a motivator because the answer is almost always yes.

You have a computer, you probably have at least one microphone. Even if it’s just the computer mic. Yes the “quality” could be questionable, but you need to push yourself daily to make music. At the very least you could have a working demo going that would propel you forward giving you new insights into your music.

The perfection, shine, and feel is up to you, but if you have enough focus, time, and patience, you can make a record today.
